Caroline Reyes-Loughrey - C of L - Artist's Directory

About Caroline Reyes-Loughrey:

I started my love of photography when I was 13 yrs. old. I took a course with a friend and borrowed my cousin's SLR camera. I then persuaded my parents to get me my own, a Canon AE-1 SLR circa 1978 I think it was. I was never without it, I became photography editor of our high school yearbook, that was fun! Fast forward to the digital age and I still love it. Though I landed in animation and advertising instead, on the side I sold stock photos for websites, and magazines.

I had a photography website for my stock photos, a family travel website and a cooking blog. I wrote and submitted photos for e-zines as well. These all went down when I was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in May 2013. I share that journey here at the LINK:

I set up this site with a mission to help other cancer patients as well as myself with the practical burdens of treatment.

I put my heart into my photographs. I used to take my camera with me everywhere everyday, just capturing snippets of life as we see it. That's the way I want it, raw and real. I rarely go on expeditions because I have kids to look after, so I take my camera wherever we go, I find subjects to shoot everywhere, it's amazing. These days Photography is what I do when I'm not busy staying alive, it's therapeutic. I love the adrenaline rush I get when I see a beautiful scene or object to photograph.
I currently live in London UK with my husband, two teens and our Maltese Terrier who is in the gallery.

I've got a large stock of photos, you can email me for themes that interests you and I can look through my files and post them on the site for you. Contact me for bulk prints.

Every photo has a story behind it, the tapestry of my life. Visiting my site and I hope you love life as we see it through these photographs.
Good to note: The logo won't appear on your prints, that's just there for protection, thanks.
